The Dunazelles take part in Trek'in Gazelles

The Dunazelle team is registered for the next Trek'in Gazelles, which will take place from 10 to 16 November 2024 (1st session) in the southern Moroccan desert.

No GPS, old-fashioned navigation

Based on the same principle as the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles, they will have to find beacons using a map, a compass and rules while covering as few kilometres as possible. GPS is forbidden.

100% women

A total of 150 teams of strong women from all walks of life will be at the start with a single objective: to outdo each other in taming the Moroccan desert. It's all about helping each other and pushing yourself to the limit.

100% solidarity

The solidarity dimension of this trek is an important part of the project. For every beacon reached by the teams, €5 will be donated to Secours Populaire. What's more, the Dunazelle are supporting the Endometriosis Research Foundation.

100% eco-friendly

Walking opens minds and purifies the soul... Among the many ways in which the trek will respect the environment is the ‘Clean Walkeuses’ operation. All the rubbish found during the walk will be collected by the teams. During the 2022 edition, more than 12,000 litres of rubbish were recovered. That's still far too much.

As you can see, the values of Trek'in Gazelles are very much in line with those of Andréa, Laetitia and Mélanie. That's why they've signed up for this project. They will be wearing bib number 135.
